Or to be fair Ludwick could have made it to third, but Cozart needs to track Ludwick.

Does anyone else see that HUGE fat guy sitting directly behind and just to the left of the catcher? Wow! And he is chowin' down on ice cream!

4 RBIs for Cozart in 4 innings. I'll forgive him for making a baserunning mistake.

But since you brought it up, nothing wrong with emphasizing a single game. Nothing wrong with players feeling urgency, either. Isn't that playoff baseball? Might as well get used to it. A weakness in Dusty, but that's just my opinion.
I think Dusty means the big game is obvious and he doesn't want to overdo the pressure. Seems fair to me.

I've been in pressure positions at work and we generally don't say to each other, hey this is high pressure.

The most important thing is that Cozart has four RBIs tonight and the Reds are winning. Let's win and worry about the psychology afterwards.

Ludwick went too far, not Cozart (at least, that's what it looked like to me)

Players often go for that extra base hoping to draw the throw. That way the run scores without a play at the plate.

Of course, you usually avoid running to a base that is occupied.

And Frazier just showed the other side of this coin, striking out with 0 outs and the bases loaded is definitely worse than any other kind of out.

Why? He could have hit into a triple play. Didn't somebody say Ks can be "optimal?"
