Not surprised Ludwick is resting tonight. Dusty rested him frequently last year, even before this year's injury. He's played four in a row, three in the outfield as I recall.

Thought we'd see Heisey again but Baker decided to load up on lefty hitting tonight with Paul and switcher Robinson.

Three in a row lefties, four out of five, Dusty has turned a new leaf. And righties have a higher OPS against Lyles this season (lifetime lefties a bit better). Lyles also has a higher OPS against him at home.

All very small samples, but Votto, Cozart, Frazier have hit Lyles hard, among those playing tonight.

Robinson has a .544 OPS in the 2nd half.
Leake has a .721 OPS in the 2nd half.

It's not lefty/righty. It's Ludwick playing four in a row for the first time since his injury. Good Dusty.

Could have. It would have been poor base running, but he certainly could have.
