    Nice Erardi story in the Enquirer this AM about the Phillies '64 epic collapse and the Reds almost winning the pennant.

    Yes - I agree. The Reds version is much better. But it is their version of the same thing. If the Reds got rid of their best players for prospects ala Houston this is what we'd have (only better with the guys we'd get back).

    I remember being on the other end of these games for years and years. The only reason to watch Reds baseball in September was to see how the call-ups looked.

    my g/f is a Rocky fan. She is upset right now. I told her I was more upset - her freakin' team cost mine a chance at gaining ground. Only left that they're good for. Now she won't fetch beer for me. Probably nothing else either...
