Chapman pumped it up for Carter. Strikes him out on 3 pitches, 101, 101, and 103.
ATOBTTR! Finally, and even though they really didn't deserve it.

Hamilton has earned himself some more starts.

That was awesome. Or awful. Is this team dumber than a pile of bricks? What year is it now?

That would ahve been a brutal one to lose. Thank you Mr Altuve!

Chapman on the road vs. home in 2013. I've never seen anything so crazy as looking as those WHIP and ERA numbers. Statistically the worst pitcher on the staff hands down on the road this season. Hoping for regression to the mean in some road playoff games.

Mes, Luddy, Phillips, Frazier and Cozart, along with their 2 for 30 w/ zero walks tonight against a bunch of AA pitchers can apologize after the game.

If there's nothing to moan about, it gets pretty quiet around here.

This one might have topped the 1283 record if the servers weren't acting up the last 1.5 hours+.

Actually, it is more the closeness of the games. late night extra inning ones and some of the West Coast late night games tend to get a lot of posts.

Plenty of low post days on an 11-2 rout, same as an 11-2 win...

So now we've got a contingent of RZ posters whining about having too many posts on a game thread. What no Thom or Marty to kick around tonight?

This game was pretty important, don't ya'll think?

A must win if you still care about winning the division.
