    Ondru out, Handy Manny in.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Ondrusek leaves, I think Parra is coming in. Logan did well, although man on second as he departs.

Shin-Soo Choo is the only Red with more 2013 stolen bases than Billy Hamilton.

I've been thinking that each night also. Worrying why we're not winning each of these games by a dozen or more runs and wondering how that might apply once in Pittsburgh.

Then, after some meditation focused on soda-can races, I feel better and more optimistic about our chances. Joey's the greatest.

Righty pinch hitter against Parra. One out in the sixth, Reds by two, man on second.

    Strike one.

If you couldn't make the conclusion (and I'm not saying you couldn't) that "he's not just fast" based on a season of AAA ball, you certainly can't change your mind based on 3 hits.
I could give a flying fig about the results. But in all of his AB's in the season, he's shown a really nice swing and approach. A much better one than I saw in the minors. Plus, he's played a nice CF so far.

I'm not saying he will be successful in the majors as a hitter, but he's shown the skills to be successful. He's shown he knows how to play baseball. Ergo, he's not just fast.

Lecure in the pen. 1-2 count. Parra battling Hoes. Man on second, one out.

    Outside, count even at 2-2.

Astros announcers love to give out of town scores.

Down the line, double for Hoes, 4-3.
