Never, ever let Parra face a rightie. Or anyone for that matter. Tie game.

Handy Manny isn't so handy lately.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    4 runs to the Astros...SMH
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

Why? Parra has been getting it done all season. No reason to turn on him for a couple doubles.

Parra has done great as a LOOGY. Why would you ever let him face a righty in a crucial situation?

Marshall is, or at least was, the only southpaw in this pen I trust with righties.

He allowed two runs and left with the Reds leading. Considering his role, that's good enough for me. If we lose this one, it's on the bullpen.

At the very least, if you're going to make snap assessments based on one game, it should at least be a game against major league opposition. This is the Astros.

I would have thought Parra has earned at least a little bit of trust, but I guess not.

Parra seems to be slumping a bit.

This was the risk of Reynolds. Have to go through the whole pen and who knows how it winds up.

Oh well, what's done is done.

Nats lost, magic number is 6.
