That is both sad and hilarious.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

This is crazy talk, I know. But can a September call-up lead the team in stolen bases?
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

Washington just lost. That moves the magic number to clinch a playoff spot to 6

LOOGY has to be decent when they switch up a righty on him. Those numbers won't cut it.

Still, with Marshall out, couldn't expect much better than what the Reds got from Parra as an injury substitute.

Let's hold them here, c'mon Reds.

Most of that damage was done in April when he got tattooed. Since then, he's actually been solid against RHB.

Anything less than a sweep of this series would be disappointing, and I'm sure the Reds players are thinking the same way. I wouldn't say that about any other series this entire season, but definitely feel that way about this one.
