Looks like the move with Brandon in the 2 hole seems to have hurt him and raised Bruce's stats. Of course that just me watching and commenting at this moment in time.

Reynolds gets up in the zone, he gets hit. Both doubles have been up.

Have to disagree. This is an AA lineup. Brewers were an AAA lineup.

    Nice arm, Billy!

Eh, more likely bad base running.

Tylson Ross ked Walk but the pitch went to the backstop and walk got on. Then McCuthchen homered. Pirates have first lead of the series against the mighty Padres.

Another double, but another scoreless from Reynolds. 3-0 Redlegs after 2.

Funny, but I don't remember 1973 as an outstanding Reds pitching year.

Pirates took the lead in the seventh on a Cutch homer.

He's looked like the same Jay Bruce we've seen the whole year -- racking up extra base hits and driving in runs, along with his usual stellar defense.

Braves take a 3-2 lead on the Nats in the 6th and the Rockies up 2-0 on the Cards (early).
