How do u not give Billy a chance to steal 3rd? That inning was the worst by a manager and players I've seen in a long time. Just dumb.

I never like to criticize a player for a bad play, but Brandon should be shot for making a grandstand play which cost us a run.

Ahh JJ. Just what the doctor ordered.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

You know by now people will complain for the sake of complaining. It doesn't matter what the manager does, if it goes wrong, he'll be blamed for it.

PHillips has always been a favorite of mine but his play tonight shows he is David Lee Roth - needing all the attention and not at all concerned with the team. Votto not taking a pitch so that Hamilton can steal adds to the enigma that is Joey Votto circa 2013. Now we are going to lose this game more than likely.

In better news, Rox threatening bottom 9 bases loaded, two out, down 4-3, Helton up.

Hopefully Phillips just didn't cost the Reds the division.

For the love of God, bring in Chapman. We can't afford to lose. No need to keep him for a save opp!

Please bring back Greg Vaughn for just one day to locker check Phillips and Votto.

I hope the Reds win the World Series, we all do, but the never ending stupidity from the dugout is unreal. If/when the Reds get in the playoffs is he really going to keep Chapman in the pen in a tie game in the 9th? I feel he should be managing these games as playoff games, especially when you have an off day tomorrow.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Please he made mistakes too. Dusty, BP, Joey all deserve some blame for that inning.
