Now 8 walks given up by the Astros pitchers tonight.

Game Day had 3 of 4 of those balls to Bruce as strikes.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

Seriously. It seems like this team takes days off. I don't expect all engines going at 100% over a 162 game season, but there are so many fundamental errors by this team. I know they're a very, very good ballclub, but what makes me mad is a team with the talent and potential to win 100+ games making so many stupid mistakes.

And Choo is on 2nd with a productive walk.

It would have been nice if BP didn't give a strike away on that bunt foul.

Magic number is 6 for the wild card game, with 9 Reds games and 10 Nats games to go. Reds have six with the Pirates their nearest rival.

    Take it easy.

    And win!
Relax for the Play in game. Any remaining chance to win the division leaves the barn with a defeat from the jaws of victory tonight.

How many times have the Reds bunted tonight?

We have very few games left with Choo as a Redleg. We need to take advantage and go deep into the playoffs. The top of the order is going to be a bunt-tastic trash heap next year.

Yes, it is a great idea, but your snark is noted.

What do you think he'll be like in say two years? It won't be pretty.

I am going with the opposite. I want animal sacrifices and bloodrage in the dugout. Clawmarks all over the clubhouse lazyboys.
