    Hamilton starting tonight

Hope he get a hit or two, steals a couple of bases, makes a couple of great catches, and shows everyone what he can do!

He did about twice as good as I was hoping! If he can maintain consistency, he could be quite a player.

It is tricky to consider putting Billy into CF in one of the games against the Pirates, but I think Ludwick needs a day off. He had a pretty terrible night at the plate last night. Let's see what the Pirates make of Blaze Hamilton stealing base after base against them, would love to wind up their pitchers to no end! It could really rattle them!

Might as well keep starting him till he shows you different.

He's valuable as a pinch runner but the Reds don't win that game last night unless Hamilton played like he did.

Ludwick's bat speed isn't there. He's having to cheat to hit the fastball which is either leaving him way out in front or way behind.

I'm gonna hold off on going nuts. Houston is a AAA team.

But he is a joy to watch.

Shhhhh..... don't tell Phillips, Votto, Ludwick or Frazier (combined 1 - 24 at the plate).

While against the lowly Astros, I think Billy's performance/ludwicks recent lack thereof might be enough to earn him a start against Pittsburgh.

I think you start Ludwick in the first game and have Billy ready on the bench. Now watch Dusty start Heisey. Anyway - I think it's important to try and get Ryan's bat going. It will be interesting to see what Dusty actually does. Outside of the daily 5 of Votto, Choo, BP, Bruce and Cozart a good/bad game(s) means nothing as to whether a guy plays the next game or not - we've seen that.

Wow. Reminds of that 16 inning game against St. Louis. 3-4-5 hitters were 0-19.

Pick your poison, Billy as a pinch runner or Ludwick as a pinch hitter?

I say start Ludwick. We can't really count on Luddy at this point, but we need him to come around. I love having Billy as a late inning stolen base guy. We've seen already how big of a weapon that can be.
