    If the runner is that slow, you could throw to 1st, get Hamilton then throw to 2nd and tag the runner going to 2nd out. But instinct would probably take over and the 2B would probably throw to 2nd.

    I think his point was, would there be a better chance of Hamilton scoring from first or say Hanigan scoring from 2nd?

    It's like would you rather concede 2nd to Hanigan or concede Billy has a 90+% chance of being on second.

    Not all teams would/should consider this, but if you have a weak throwing catcher...
