Walks bad. Strikeouts and grounders good.

    Any questions?

Which hitting team are you referring to? Big difference. :O)

In the first inning I wish they would have been more patient I think it took him awhile to really find it but at this point he is locked in. Votto and Bruce are getting first pitch fastballs away to start every AB. Jump all over it try sending it to LF.

Ha! Was a shrewd tip for Latos he tragically won't see.

Every time a runner reaches base, the game is on the line. Fall behind by three and it's over with the Pirates bullpen waiting.

Too glass-half-empty for my tastes. We score a few more and game over for the Bucs. Our pen is okay too.

You mean like they slammed the door on the Padres two days ago?

It will happen for the Reds. They need to be intelligent hitters.

Latos needs to hang in there. Be cool Mat.

1st and 3rd, one out after the Alvarez single. Walks could haunt.

Now Latos is worrying me a bit. Down 3-1 still no panic but has he settled down? More important, will he? Still shouldn't be a problem for our bats but a few more and, yeah, it'd be a problem. Do Not Want To Lose This Game.

You mean the bullpen that blew a two run lead in the ninth on Wednesday?

No one's perfect. But you can be far from perfect and close the door on this offense.

I hate that Hamilton's not starting. I hate that contract players get starts over hot hands, just because....
