Well, Liriano just made Frazier and Cozart look pathetic.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

It happens to the best of 'em.

Fear not, Reds fans! Tonight, while I was walking my dog on the mean streets of Friendship, Pittsburgh, just before the game, the universe sent a sign. My dog and I go for good walks, oh, maybe 20 times a week. Tonight, I crossed the street at a spot where I don't normally, and on the opposite sidewalk immediately felt something weird under my feet, something I had never encountered before on any walk. I looked down and saw a sidewalk full of these:

Buckeyes! The hell is a nice Ohio buckeye doing in my Pennsylvania hood? It's a sign, right? Let us not forget where the rally onion was discovered! IT'S A SIGN. Maybe

About a half a block after that I saw a dead bird. It was not a cardinal and I could not in sound mind take a picture of it, but worth noting.

    WORTH NOTING.

They were a ringing double away that inning from that very outcome. The Pirates do have an actual bullpen.

That Clayton Kershaw guy never gives them up. He struck Jay Bruce out every time he came to the plate, right?

Yeah, but the Reds have Billy Hamilton.

I was told it was the place with the helpful hardware man. But I did receive that knowledge second hand.

This is a road series at Pittsburgh. There will be rocky moments. Then the Reds go home where they are excellent.

They are down one run in the first game. No biggie.

No need to declare Latos a non-Ace or to reach other conclusions just yet.

I have to admit I'm still pretty shellshocked from the two home runs, to Tabata and Walker of all people.

As long as Latos isn't shell shocked, I can live with it.

I swear some people only come out when things are going a bit rough.

Tech question: can anybody tell me why game threads don't automatically refresh anymore? Is it something with the board or is it my browser/computer?
