When a batter, Ludwick, has by far the most exposure to a pitcher, Harang, 36 at bats, and has over 1.000 OPS against him, he usually gets to play.

It's not self esteem. Jay Bruce lifetime is 0-5 against him and has nothing tonight.

So hitting Ludwick fourth is reasonable. He also got three hits the other night.

The Reds are handling their lineups quite well, making appropriate use of Hamilton. Some games go well, some are tougher.

So rather than have posters list 100 other possible lineups, which we all know anyway, let's just enjoy the game.

Sorry, thought I posted this on last night's game thread but was probably too late for many to see it since well after the game ended.

We talked for maybe 15 or 20 min. He was frustrated with what he believed to be Dusty's blind spot for playing veterans over youth even when a cooler performance/potential analysis might dictate otherwise. I agreed with him citing Hanny's starts at 3rd and the stubborn continuation of trotting Duke out in bad situations as possible examples of that phenomenon.

Other than Ludwick (before tonight at least) nobody on the Reds has every hit Harang particularly well.

I'm pretty sure all games make you nervous and very frustrated.

Looks like vintage cueto. Guys can't square the ball up on him.

And of course I'm typing this and he gives up a homer lol.

Reds offense needs to give Johnny a little support here...

When you leave all those guys on base early, the games often become very tough late.

Hopefully Reds will put something together.

I would take Cueto out, he's had enough after a big injury.

Question is, do you send Cueto back out there next inning?

Well that tells me that Mez feels that way and expressed that to his uncle. Which also tells me that maybe more on the team feels the same way.

His uncle said what most of us have expressed on this board about Dusty.

The correct emotion to have now is

    1) *sigh*
    2) whoa is me
    3) the sky is falling

    ???
