And that's why the Mets are where they are in the standings

/still bitter over an offhand Reds bashing comment from Keith Hernandez in 2007
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

If you need a run it's never a bad idea.

DRob would be on 1st and who else makes catcher's miss pitchouts?

So glad they pitched out. Didn't give Heisey a chance to pop up on the first pitch.
"Man, the pitch looks fast, even in slow motion." Thom Brennaman on Chapman's fastball.

With Hi-C up, unless you plan on having BH steal home I'm not sure why you use him.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

And their OPS is .762 vs. the Cards .701, who rank 9th in the NL during that period.
