Cozart is hurt, right? That's the only way I can explain this to my sons.

Today is a must win game if you want to play the Wild Card game in Cincinnati.

Put Cozart at 8 and you have my WC lineup in Pit or Cin!

Reds at 12:35, Cards at 1:45, Pirates at 2:20.

I suppose we'll know quite a bit by the time most of us leave work around 5 today.

I tried to get extra done yesterday just for this reason
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

They're not allowed to call it that anymore. It's the "Business Day Special" now.

I thought the whole PC craze was dying off. Remember when they had road signs that said "People Working", and manholes were called "person holes"?

I don't mind this change at all... I'm a businesswoman and I'm enjoying the game today... (Took the day off from work).

This exact lineup has been in my mind for next year assuming they can re-sign Choo. Choo would be an excellent #2 hitter and make this lineup (assuming Hamilton does his part) very very balanced at the top.

    Mets TV broadcast.

Shows Mes hit with a warmup pitch in the dirt. Eric Young nicely asked Mes if he's ok. Mes said yes.

Mets TV guys commented that Mes had some trouble holding on to the ball last night. But complimented his throwing arm.

Though I've never watched them, aren't the Met's broadcasters known for being one of the better crews in the game?
