The Reds have the Pirates right where they want them!

    It's rope-a-dope strategy, I tell you.

Love the thread title. Less so Cincinnati chili.* Have tried it on my trips there. 3-way. 4-way. 5-way. Skyline and one other. Vile stuff to me. But I'm an east coaster so what the heck do I know? Then again, you're in Colorado.

Loved when a kid and living there...go back now and taste that stuff and wanna run for the exit...or the bathroom...can't quite understand how I ever acquired a taste for it as a youngster but I sure lost it later on...45 years away from your hometown can do that I guess.

I think it would be fitting to the Reds season if they took the game in Pitt. It's how the whole season has gone. Count them out. They win. Figure they've turned a corner and they fall apart.

I agree. Everyone needs to chill out. It's obvious that the Reds are just lulling the Pirates into a false sense of security.

I see no purpose in winning today's game. It's hard for one team to defeat another in four straight contests. So lay down today, and then open a can o' whoopass Tuesday.

And may we all be face deep in jumbo 5-ways to celebrate Tuesday night!

I remember when Bronson Arroyo said he tries to avoid it has often as he can and when Brandon Phillips said he loves Cincinnati but the chili is no bueno.

I always knew there was another reason I disliked St. Louis. Now I know what it is.

When I was a student at OU in the early 90's, there was a pizza place in Athens called Cardo's. After reading the article on St.Louis-style pizza, it would appear that this is the type of pizza they sold.
