Fox is happy. Only one better for them would be Dodgers/RedSox.

Championship teams don't let things like that affect them.

Scherzer didn't fall apart. He was pulled. Veras gave up the grand slam. My point was how the ump's call affected the game. I know...that's baseball.

Tim McCarver, saying dumb things, just as predictable as the outcome of this game.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Unreal how bad Detroit's bullpen has been. I bet if Walt called them tonight he could get Cabrera, Fielder, PEDalta, Martinez and Jackson for Broxton and Chapman.

I don't think so. But they have been terrible.
I don't think I want Fielder. He's going to be a major problem for the Tigers as he ages. He's not going to get smaller. He will be a full time D/H within 2 years.

This is going to be the most insufferable World Series as humanly possible. I hate both of the teams.

Well, it doesn't happen a lot, but I think the best 2 teams are in the series. Identical records at 97-65. 2 teams that can hit and score.

    And David Ross.

The 2008 Reds still got it.

But Torii Hunter doesn't after playing in nearly 2100 games. May never get there.

Should be a good series. I went to an interleague game at Fenway between the Cards and BoSox a few years back and it was a classic ballgame. A good matchup between 2 teams with lots of weapons.

2013 Fall Classic - teams with their respective leagues best records, very similarly built. Cards looking for 2004 redemption, Red Sox proving a Phoenix can rise from its ashes, and to once again show the curse is lifted.

I like the matchup. Should be good baseball.
