    7-1 Pirates in the 8th.

Big problem for the Cards. After Wainwright, they don't have a playoff caliber starting pitcher.

Anyone know why Miller isn't starting?

I want the Pirates to win it all.

Actually like Pittsburgh and it would probably be good for the Reds' chances next year.

    Yuck.

The very last thing I want to see is that city win another championship. They're arrogant enough as it is.

Go Cards (this round only). Go Rays overall!

Shelby Miller had a pretty rough go of it down the stretch after an amazing start. I guess they just don't trust him

It's really weird hearing Orsillo and Eckersley do a not-Red Sox game together.

I think the start on Friday was between Lynn and Miller. Lynn won out. I'm thinking Matheny is concerned that Miller would get rattled in Pittsburgh. I would have the same concern.

Why am I still up past midnight watching a game I don't particularly care who wins? Oh, yeah, Cespedes 2 run HR makes it 3-2 in the 7th, that's why.

Oakland loses, just couldn't get that tying run.

Because the playoffs need all the ratings it can get so D Bags like Colin Cowherd can shut up about why nobody likes baseball anymore.

Had their shot right there. Verlander may not have had the best regular season but he's a freaking gamer. Both guys throwing gems so far tonight. Sonny Gray's curve ball is pretty sick.
