If Johnny doesn't come up big, this has potential to be the mother of all anticlimactic Reds seasons.

7 innings would work fine. Then let Marshall and Chapman shut it down.

I'm totally in. Not just here. Also at PNC. If I didn't think Cueto would be Cueto and we'd score a couple or a few to back him up, I wouldn't be trekking all the way to PIT for this game.

Something special is going to happen tomorrow night.

As long as the Reds have one more run then the Bucs, I'm happy.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Liriano has started 4 games against the REDS this season. The Pirates have lost every single time! Of course his team only scored 11 runs in those 4 games.

    June 1: 2-0 loss
    June 17: 4-1 loss
    July 19: 5-3 loss
    Sept 20: 6-5 loss

20 Sept was a bullpen implosion, I'd hardly chalk that up to Liriano.

Including that loss, the other losses he was a very tough pitcher on the Reds lineup. Averaging less than 200 BA is no small feat. He gave up a few hits and a few HRs, but 10 earned runs over 4 games is still no small feat especially when considering the lineup he's working against.

But point well taken... he has cracked before.

Does that make the '99 season the grandmother?

Nope that was the night at the bar, where the girl's friends came back and drug her home, before she gave you her number.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.
