    Tell that to the Cubs and Brewers, I'm talking about all of baseball, not just the Reds and offense is down and fans seem to not want to acknowledge that as evidenced by your reply.

    I'm happy to acknowledge that league wide offense is down, but that doesn't deter me from hoping that my contending team would have enough of it to be a champion. The Reds are not a rebuilding team like the Cubs and Brewers and I don't think that comparison is well taken.

    I appreciate the excellence of some of the Reds hitters, but wish they were league average elsewhere. I do not think this is too much to ask.

    I'll even accept 2013 league avereage, downturn and all, at these supporting positions. Didn't have it this year.
