Doesn't seem fair to the guy at all, but I suppose he knew what he was getting into.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Yeah, it was all Dale's fault. The only explanation I have is that Theo has his eye on a target like Girardi, or someone else, that is now or maybe never, so he made this move.

if we lose tue and can dusty on wed, we need to go after girardi on thursday.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Now that Sveum is gone, I'm going to have to spend some time figuring out who the new "worst manager in baseball " is. Dale was pretty much in a class by himself.

I have seen a lot of criticism of Ned Yost's game management but I have NOT watched him at all so I have no idea if is valid or not.

    Edit: added NOT

I remember Yost with the Brewers. He's a good candidate.

yost is disliked here from the fans for alot of the same reasons as dusty. fanbase isn't happy that he looks to be coming back.

Eh...another Baker player's manager...keep the guys happy...but his game management is old school and often has fans here raising eyebrows. Better clubhouse guy than game manager, imo. Much better than some of the past managers the Royals have had in recent memory. I don't think he's bad...nor good...like 90% of managers. He just is.

Giardi is under contract to the Yankees until Nov 1. They aren't going to let him talk to anyone before then.

If we offer to paay part of the Dddustballs' salary, ddo you think the CCcubbies would snap him up before 10/14 (my birthday)? That would be the best birthday present I could receive.

The Cubs struggles can't be pinned on Sveum..... but one has to hardly believe that he was much more than a interim guy... the guy put in to take all of the losses until the cubs could get a workable team for a top management name.... like Girardi.

Girardi seems to be the natural target and what he's been publicly saying seems to make it seem that he may be leaning in that direction as well.

They were saying on BBTN that the younger players (Castro, Barney, Rizzo, Samardzja) regressed under his watch and that was the likely reason he was sacked.

Girardi is so overrated it's insane.
