Same reds we have seen all year....sometimes people (myself included) are such big fans that we can't see the real team from all the good things they do against inferior talent.....this is the same team we have seen since April. I'm not shocked at all. This is what our talent has gotten us. Barely good enough to make the playoffs but never gonna be good enough to stay in the playoffs more than a week. It's who we are and it's who we have been for 3-4 years and it's the team that was built. Our holes are still holes no matter which way you try and spin it.

Just a fitting end to a very frustrating and exasperating season.

I don't know why we expected anything different.

Hope this signals the end of Baker and Jacoby.

We'll not re-sign Choo nor Arroyo.

I'd trade Cueto if the right partner presents itself.

I hope someone decides to wake Walt Jocketty this off-season.

Brandon's act has just officially grown old and we are saddled with that albatross of a contract.

Kinda glad this season is mercifully over. I think we're better - as a franchise and fans - when there are no expectations. It's our comfort zone. We should be headed right back to that wheelhouse soon.

This is the first time in saying this, but at this rate, I'm fully on-board firing Dusty if we lose. Heck, if we don't at least get to WS. This team just LOOKS defeated.

Didn't realize he was with Cards, so he is the GM's man then. Stretching it to say HE got us in the playoff's 3 out of 4 years IMO. I think the pitching has been the reason the last 2 years, look at the batting averages of the guys this year.

All right, job #1 for the Reds the next time they take the mound in this game: strike someone out.

On the bright side, Liriano is having a long wait between innings.

While you're at it, trade the whole team!
