    Reds' wildcard roster thread

It hasn't been released, but here's some hints..

    http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2...playoff-roster

However, because of the one-game format and the ability to change the roster after Tuesday’s game for a possible National League Division Series against the Cardinals, there’s little doubt that Billy Hamilton would be available for Tuesday’s game.
    [snip]

Some of the Reds September call-ups, such as Neftali Soto and Henry Rodriguez, were not with the team in Pittsburgh.
In all, there were 16 position players with the Reds in Pittsburgh. Last season the Braves carried 16 position players on their wild card roster. In addition to Hamilton, Corky Miller and Derrick Robinson, both who were added to the team in September, are in Pittsburgh.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Rosters were due in 20 minutes ago.

Why do we still know nothing?

It's a conspiracy. I'd tell you but they told me not to tell you.

    Billy for Masset
    D-Rob for Broxton
    Corky for Cingrani

Would be what I would do. Only carry 2 starters.

Is Cingrani replacable now? If so, I think you're dead-on and we'll just see Cueto/Leake for SPs. I guess you could carry Homer for emergency or Arroyo for bunting, but that's a stretch.

Fear the Stache. Reds have never lost a playoff game with Corky on the roster.

Yeah. I don't understand what the big secret is. I am positive Pittsburgh is (has) already preparing for Billy Hamilton. He's not a surprise.

Well, the roster was due at 10 am regardless. I imagine the powers that be on both sides already know. Just release it to the public already.

    Re: Reds' wildcard roster thread

Seems strange no roster has been released. Makes me wonder if there is some controversial pick and the Reds just don't want Twitter to explode, or if someone has screwed up and not sent it to the media yet.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Top secret information. The teams have only played each other 37 times this season...
