After I saw Terry Pendleton in action the other night this might be the guy.At least he gets pissed off and shows some emotion.lol especially when he gets hit with equipment.

You guys want "emotion" and "energy" right?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    Mike Trout.

Oh, and he would need to be a player-manager.

Price or Morgan as manager, Power as PC, Larking as HC. And promote Hatcher to 3B or bench. Dream scenario I know....

    I like Price to takeover.

Otherwise, wouldn't Rolen or Cairo make for good player managers? I am sure both are better than our current bench and I am sure the players would easily accept them.

Isn't Dusty a renowned player's manager? If they replace him, I would hope they would either go with Price or find someone with a different philosophical approach. My sense is that Rolen or Cairo would be just more of the same.

Vern Rapp is alive and would bring fire to the club.

Is it time to start grooming Corky?
    When I see the 2015 Reds, I see a 100 loss team.

    Vern is a disciplinarian
    No facial hair
    High stirrups
    Coats and ties always
Who cares about making the playoffs when you can have great discipline from Vern

Going to be honest.....I miss the no facial hair and high stirrups. The Yankees still do it and it shows class IMO.
