I'm not going to read too much into that because I don't remember hearing a lot from Votto from the end of the season until Redsfest most offseasons.
I could be wrong, but he usually doesn't get involved in a lot of the media stuff in the off season. He keeps in touch with a select group of teammates, and likely front office/ coach types.
But I don't see him on ESPN or MLB network pumping himself, or promoting his "brand". I don't think he enjoys that aspect of being famous.
I wouldn't look for him in broadcasting when he is done playing.
