Granted, you're talking to a guy who hasn't listened to the radio longer than 5 minutes in years.

I have no doubt that they dwarf almost everything on ye olde FM-box.

My one you might say "superfluous" goal of fatherhood is making sure my kids appreciate solid music and steer clear of said box.

Who am I kidding, nothing superfluous about that!

Jonny Gomes tried to screw things up but no damage.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

There is no rock and roll anymore. It's depressing.

There used to never be an end to it....just band after band....now I don't even hear instruments...nothing inspires....

Well, you could always pretend it's still 1973.

For those of you bored with the current state of rock music, these are the guys who still give me hope in an otherwise merciless abyss of awful music:

Oh yes I am. Put Carlos Beltran on last year's Reds and they win the World Series. Put him on this year's Reds and they win the division with a very good shot at being in tonight's game against the Red Sox.

Carlos Beltran should be on money.

That wouldn't be all bad if your a Reds fan.

They need someone who can hit at 3B though. Menke isn't the answer.

Beltran's great until he gets hurt.

Ludwick had a better regular season, and post season than Beltran in 2012.

I believe that's what they call a band's Iron Maiden moment. On the bright side, you can play in front of 100,000 in Argentina or Australia at the drop of a hat.
