I would have been here for the carnage but caught the game at my fave watering hole. But I don't wanna spoil the fun you guys are having watching the Sox dismantle the Cards.

But I'll check in tonite so that there is some kind of balance in the jaded reporting I read today in this thread!

If I was so evil as to have someone in mind, it wasn't you.

I applaud your intentions though the Cards may tie things back up tonight.

I see that Beltran will play tonite...interesting how the cosmic payback hit the Cards in the very next series after they drilled Ramirez..LOL. I think it's a mistake not to sit him until Saturday. You can't swing well with pain!

Haha! Yeah, ya think? Always reminds me of:

My prediction: The Sox take it in four.

But before the final out is recorded, rumors are starting to swirl that some of the Cards players have taken money to throw the games.

After the final out but before the Sox parade, conclusive evidence is produced that indeed the Series was thrown. The Sox victory now seems hollow, their parade is sparsely attended. Their visit to the White House is scheduled on a Friday afternoon and is perfunctory. Many St. Louis players receive lifetime bans. And fans everywhere want to forget the 2013 World Series.

Why ask the umps? That hasn't stopped Cardinal pitchers in the past

I need to know the rules to the Fox Broadcasters WS drinking game for tonight's game

Rule 1: Every time they mention how big Wacha is, take a drink.

Every time they drool over Wacha, as if he's the second coming of Bob Gibson, take a drink.

McCarver just called Pedroia the most creative 2B in the game for a standard two-step dive to his right. Somebody send that man the Brandon Phillips career highlight reel.
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

Leave Timmy alone. You're gonna miss him when he's gone.

Well, they got Holliday home....I'm shocked!
