You wonder if the number one pick is a big enough carrot to use as the centerpiece of a trade for Kevin Love, because a big three of LeBron, Love and Kyrie Irving would be very, very interesting.

    Re: 2013 NBA Season

Here is why he is not going back to Cleveland:

    Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

    Just watch.

    Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

Miami has looked really old in these last two games. The craziest part is that it isn't the Duncan/Parker/Ginobili group is beating Miami, it is the Diaw/Splitter/Leonard/Mills/Green group. I don't think that group has missed a shot in two games. Meanwhile, Chalmers, Cole, Wade, and Battier have all been unplayable. They have all been so bad.

Yeah. Last night, Lebron was the best player on the floor and the next seven most effective players were Spurs.

This series might end up being Gregg Popovich's magnum opus when all is said and done.

Hopefully you watched their first round matchup against Dallas. That was a more competitive series than this one.

They turned their "switch" on Game 7 of that series. OKC gave it a go with a couple of home games in Oklahoma, but it's been all San Antonio since that 7th game vs the Mavs.

OKC vs SA was the NBA Finals. This is Manny Pacquiao vs the body bag.

If the Heat played in the West, they'd have zero titles with Lebron. East gives them virtual bye to Finals every year.

I wouldn't go that far. I'm far from a LeBron apologist but Indy was a legit threat LAST YEAR. They also had better role players giving support to the Big 3 (Mike Miller comes to mind immediately). Yes this year the East was brutally bad but the Heat aren't playing ANY Defense. That was one of their calling cards a couple years ago, Miami better pray LeBron doesn't opt out they're screwed if he does just like Cleveland when LeBron left.

    My synopsis of the Heat:
Wade= A MAJOR liability at this point, he's 32 going on 40. He's DONE. Not to mention he still counts like 12 mil on the cap (or whatever that number is).
Bosh= A square peg in a round hole, he's so out of place in Miami's offense that he's reduced to taking a bunch of 3s when he should really be working on getting a matchup post up IMO.
The rest of their 4s and 5s... If you can actually name them (not nicknames) you are doing better than 90% of the people probably. They have NOTHING.
Beasley= Looks like the only guy who knows how to put the ball in the hoop tonight not named James. He's had his issues since coming out of Kansas State.
Chalmers= Might be a guy you could maybe try and build something around but he's looked bad tonight.
The Rest of their bench= Like the bigs if you can name any of them you're more into the game than most fans.

If LeBron doesn't stay this team is DONE as a legitimate threat for an Eastern Division champ unless it can get rid of Wade's 18 mil and brings in MULTIPLE MAJOR pieces.

Not surprised that the Spurs won, but I am surprised at how thoroughly they dismantled the 2 time defending champs. This series wasn't even close.

Lebron isn't going to a Western Conference Team. No chance.

He wouldn't sniff the Finals unless he colluded again

Him and Chris Paul would make an interesting duo with the rest of Alley Hoops out west. But you're right.

    New York
    Cleveland
    or stays in Miami.
