    Some above were critical of Cardenas' decision to hang it up. I'm supportive. Sure, he might spend a couple years in the real world and find out it's no better. But if you're not happy doing what you're doing, you have to try to be happy doing something else.

    Don't know how many saw this, but a rather young Bronco retired mid-season this week. This isn't exactly like quitting the Cubs... the Broncos have a legit shot at a world championship this season. So it's surprising, but I totally back his decision if he's not happy being over 300 pounds and getting his body abused every week.
