A good astronomy course usually cures a belief in aliens...at least the type that build ships and fly here.
Anything is possible....this universe is pretty convenient- if you can think it you can usually achieve it....
But traveling those distances....when you think that light starting at one end of our galaxy traveling at 186,000 miles a second, 2000 years ago, still hasn't reached the other end of our galaxy...I dunno...it's more than just big out there. It is impossible to comprehend big.
That's why you need an infinite improbability drive.
It is on the whole probable that we continually dream, but that consciousness makes such a noise that we do not hear it. Carl Jung.

One would assume that they've achieved warp technology or jump drive technology. Going the speed of light is just really inefficient (if a technology is possible to allow matter to achieve the speed of light without having infinite mass). There's a whole number of ways that advanced civilizations could work around the long distances. NASA is actually currently working on warp technology as we speak.
Nowadays we can find all kinds of reasons for UFOs; weather balloons, military craft, digital photoshopping, whatever. But in ancient times what else could a UFO be?
I think we've definitely been visited but I must say I don't have the proof that RZers demand.
Yes, these spaceships that have mastered warp technology have little lights flashing on them...

Just about every report you see...
Wear gaudy colors, or avoid display. Lay a million eggs or give birth to one. The fittest shall survive, yet the unfit may live. Be like your ancestors or be different. We must repeat!
The ones with several small lights could be our own trying to blend in, or alien ships trying to blend in with ours.
I've always considered the possibility that the ones that really put on a huge lightshow may just be a propulsion byproduct beyond our current understanding. It would be like trying to explain to a cat why smoke comes out of an exhaust pipe.
The amount of advanced technology it would take to get here....seems like they wouldn't have to get here to see us...
And the amount of technology it would require to travel here...and some dude in Oklahoma can just spot one in his backyard.....I dunno...
