Anybody know if Delino Deshields will return to Pensacola ? I know the Pensacola FO prefers a different personality. We can use this thread to cover all the affiliates Minor League coaching/ rover changes.

I'd like to see Deshields tutoring Hamilton in AAA personally.
I am hoping Ted Power is promoted to the Reds either as pitching coach or in Mack Jenkins role, and Corky Miller takes his spot in AAA. That is, assuming Corky does not return as a catcher or manager somewhere.
I think there will be some definite changes at AA, and lower levels. I do see that the hitting coach from Dayton Alex Pelaez will be the new hitting coach in AA. Whether that means DeShields will still be there, or promoted, I don't know.

Hello, 19braves77, I am curious if you have inside scoop with wahoos front office. I am season ticket holder and like Delino as a human but his managing day to day is absolutely brutal in my opinion. Maybe just spoiled by Riggelman in year 1.
DAYTON
Jose Nieves - Manager
Luis Bolivar - Hitting Coach
Tony Fossas - Pitching Coach
Riggleman, Power, Jaramillo all return to Bats field staff for 2014 per BatsTwitter.

Does the Dayton staff reflect, in part, an intent to help young players from Hispanic cultures adapt to the US?

UPDATE: A Reds official replied and told me Griffey Sr. will be transitioning into a roving instructor role, with an emphasis on hitting and bunting.
