    Rand University

I watched it on ESPN tonight about Randy Moss and it's been blowing up my facebook news thread (grew up in Belle). I wanted to see if any who else watched it and thoughts on it.

It was awesome. I try to catch all of ESPN's 30 for 30 and never come away unimpressed. It gives you a whole different viewpoint for Randy Moss.

I saw most of it. Excellent, even if they did give Chuck Landon screen time.

My sister lived in Rand for a few years when she first go married, and her ex knows Moss a little. I think people get hung up on race when it comes to Moss and don't realize how much of who he is comes from where he grew up.

I still marvel that Randy Moss and Jason Williams played on the same HS basketball team.

I think its true for anyone, I expected it to be all about Moss but was shocked how much of it was about Man Man and Bobbie. It was like the 3 paths for many kids at Rand University all across the US. Some like Man Man end up screwing up and never leaving the area, Randy made some mistakes but it ultimately works out, and Bobbie the one who goes on to succeed.

I asked Plus Plus where best to post this because I wanted to try and see what others thought. I was kind of afraid it would turn into a political thread. I went to the same junior high and 10th grade at DuPont before it was turned into a middle school because Riverside opened and merged DuPont and East Bank.
