With a little effort, we can get this thing to double digits.

Glenn Quinn, best known for playing Mark on "Roseanne" and Doyle on "Angel", died on this date in 2002.

I'll fess up. I had no idea he was dead. Mr. Howell, however, I realize he's been dead for years. And the professor, I believe, also dead.

Russell Johnson (AKA the Professor) is 89 years old and the last surviving male of the Gilligan's Island cast.

Ah....but the Professor has Ginger and Mary Ann all to himself now that all the other males on the island are now dead.

In other Gilligan's Island news, some of the Harlem Globetrotters are dead and some are still alive.

In 1963, during the show's proposal, CBS executives wanted an episode where Gilligan finds and befriends a dinosaur on the other end of the island.

Anyone notice that Mary Ann sure aged better than the movie star?
