With all respect could not disagree more. This is what Twitter is for. If you only want the news when the deal is done then just follow those reporters on their articles and official news postings on espn and fox tv. They are letting us know information as they get it. They knew the Rays were getting Hanigan and they let us know. And are piecing it together and letting us know along the way. If you want official news just follow the Reds account. They will let you know when it is done. It is up to the consumer how they want it delivered to them.I really wish Rosenthal and Olney had kept their traps shut until they had more details about this deal because IMO all they did was look stupid for reporting a random deal that they know nothing about right now. This is when social media is a double edged sword. It's great as a Reds fan to know that a deal is coming soon but in their rush to be the 'first person' to report it, there's not really anything to actually report to us right now. *shakes head and sighs*
