Here's a radio interview with Long from last season when he was Minor League Hitting Coordinator for the Braves. Briefly, the "eyes" have it.

And apparently, Lee Tinsley was once traded for Brook Jacoby.

And Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln...

Here's another bit I found on Long from when Pittsburgh hired him. Just a brief blurb and I don't know where the blogger got the quotes.

A summary I gave on another thread here:

He talked about not giving any pitch away. Elsewhere, in a Pirates blog back when he was hired from Philadelphia, he's quoted as saying, "When [a batter] steps up to home plate, he’s ready to hit every pitch until his eyes tell him no. He has to see the ball and recognize where it’s going before he actually goes after it." Long referred to it as creating "an aggressive but under control hitter."

Here's another piece from Baseball Prospectus from 2010, an interview with Long (free from their archives, according to their site).

This interview that I posted elsewhere starts with Price talking about hiring his coaching staff and his thoughts on them.
