Based on my own personal living experiences, people in upstate New York are the "swearingest", while people in Kentucky are the least "swearingest". Even the women in upstate New York drop the F bomb in regular conversation. I don't swear much myself (unless I'm on the golf course; that tends to bring it out of me), so it took me awhile to get used to the folks of NY. I've also lived in Texas, Ohio and WVa, but was too young to get a feel for the lingo of the land. I always wonder how surveys like this are taken?
