Why aren't the Reds looking at Trumbo?

He's a better option than Frazier at either 3rd or LF.

Maybe Daniel Corcino could get it done. They need young pitching

I don't think he's better than Frazier at 3rd at all.

Couple reasons, at least from my view:

    1) He isn't as good a player as what the Angels are seeking for him and

    2) Daniel Corcino would probably not get it done when (per the rumor mill) the Angels were balking at a one-for-one with the DBacks for Tyler Skaggs. Skaggs is a much better pitching prospect than anything we could realistically offer up. WAY higher stock than Corcino, anyway.

Would you be willing to give the Angels Leake and Stephenson? Because that is the type of package that the Diamondbacks are rumored to be giving up. That is a huge overpay for a guy that swings and misses and can't get on base. Say no to Trumbo.

8 games at 3rd with the range of a lawn ornament, a lifetime .299 OB%.

Love the analogy. I'm saving that one for later

He's Carlos Pena without the walks. Wouldn't want any part of that sweepstakes.

The guy will hit some mammoth dingers that trick you into thinking he is more valuable than he really is.
Before you criticize someone, you should "walk a mile in their shoes", as the saying goes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away... and you have their shoes.
