    Peter O'Toole RIP

I will not be a common man. I will stir the smooth sands of monotony. I do not crave security. I wish to hazard my soul to opportunity.

It's not enough simply to be the king. You must look and act like one.

No prisoners. RIP to one of the all-time greats.

Loved him in "My Favorite Year."

My favorite interview of all time. I still watch it a couple times a year and it never fails to delight.

What I wouldn't pay to spend one night drinking with O'Toole and Burton, or Finch, or Harris.

One of my absolute favorites. His two turns as Henry II (Becket, The Lion in Winter) were fantastic.

His performance in King Ralph was sublime.

Thought he was great in The Ruling Class.

I loved him in a lot of films...but none more than Lawrence of Arabia. Definitely in my top 5 of all time movies.

And VP, thanks for posting the link to that Letterman interview. Simply priceless.
