What's your go-to alcoholic beverage?
I have to go with Bourbon.
Maker's Mark, Jim Beam, Crown Royal would be tops.
As far as beer goes, I go with Modelo.

Captain and diet for a mixed drink.
Beer wise I drink Coors Light but will drink about anything. Carlsberg is my favorite import. I tried it while on vacation in Europe in the late 80's and have loved it since.

Got a bourbon bar in the basement, so I'll have to go with that. We have a 100 bourbon allowance in the house each month as a matter of fact. 32 varieties and counting.
Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Bourbon in the winter. Gin in the summer.
Beer: Variety is the spice of life. However, if I'm filling the fridge, something by Bell's, Rivertown, or Highlands is usually my choice.

I'm beer only and quite the beer snob now with the plethora of craft and microbreweries out there. Love a good IPA or milk stout these days. Coors, Bud, Miller, etc taste awful to me now (didn't stop me from drinking them for 20 years though.) I sometime pay more for a single rare/hard to find beer than a 12 pack of domestic brew.
It's been discussed in the beer thread but the 3 breweries in Lexington are all outstanding and each has their respective pros and cons.

Bourbon. Actually whisky in general, but bourbon is the go to.

I hate to sound like a bourbon snob, but Crown Royal is not a bourbon.
I've grown to love bourbon, especially this time of year. I haven't found one yet that I didn't like. Having said that though, my top choice is Woodford Reserve. If I'm being cost conscience I'll usually go with Evan Williams.

Jameson 12 yr. special reserve.

Chocolate milk.
But when I did drink, I fancied a White Russian or Firefly Sweet Tea mixed with sweet tea or lemonade.
Diamond wine coolers, circa 1986.

I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.
