I think my Kitten is in love with Joey. Hubby was watching the highlights of tonight's game on Gameday, and Munchkin watched the Votto 1000th hit video very intently--twice. Ignored the other two videos, just watched his. Now she's watching the post game show...
She's got taste, I'll give her that....
Dog owners, please help. What are the most indestructible dog toys you have found? My dog shreds everything within minutes. Not hours, minutes. I've done some research and have found some pricey ones that claim to be indestructible, but reviews are always mixed. I'm willing to pay some money if it means I can stop buying four $5-10 toys every week.
Type of toy can be anything -- rubber, soft, ropey. She chews them all. No rawhide.

Depending on the particular dog, nothing is indestructible. Kong brand stuff is pretty tough. My dogs like nylabones as well, but I have to take them away too after they're worn down to the nubs. Neither of those are what you would call cheap but they will last better than the cheap toys. I'm pretty lucky now. My dogs just like playing with regular tennis balls most of the time, but even with those, they'll find a way to peel the covers off.

Geez, Ruby's got it made!
Thanks dabvu. I forgot to mention that she does love her Nylabones, and they last longer than regular toys -- I'm just looking for something she can play with/chase rather than just settle down and chew lovingly for hours. Tennis balls might do the trick.

The Kong brand tennis balls are longer-lasting and have squeekers. Although my heathens will eventually "break" the squeekers. They're content with regular old tennis balls most of the time but I have to take them away when I start seeing them trying to break them open.

Bear and Ozzy
Our Chesapeake Bay Retriever (1-year-old) simply dismantles toys. We bought an "indestructible" dog bed that lasted less than a 1/2 hour. Tennis balls meet their demise as quickly as he decides to shred them. He simply puts the ball in his mouth, then fully compresses the ball a couple dozen times till the middle seam gives way. He does love chasing tennis balls, but they are in hiding till the moment of play.
Retrievers are a working breed. I found with my old lab that he simply needed to be worn out with running or swimming every day to keep from chewing. We would go to a field in the morning where he would retrieve for about 40 minutes, running hard. Once he reached full adulthood, he calmed down some, but no dog I've ever owned has needed as much activity as that old boy.
Next Reds manager, second shooter. --Confirmed on Redszone.
We bought my girls a Pomeranian for Christmas several years ago. She will be 9 in October. If that dog goes b4 I do I will cry more than my wife and kids do.
