    It's still cheating

Sure. But not at all the same. One is an attempt to improve performance. Improved performance helps your TEAM WIN. We, the fans, all hope the players on both teams are trying to win each and every game. The other can lead into murky waters. And I do not have to explain b/c we are all intelligent enough to know what that means.

    Big difference.

How do you determine who a "junkie" is/was?

Is suspicion enough or do they have to have had a positive test?

PED's aren't about winning, they are about money. Gambling is about money. To me we are not talking black and white but shades of grey. As with everything its in the eye of the beholder, but I don't want anyone in the hall who does either.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Cincinnati Bengals - None
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

I still struggle to understand why people think a guy should be in the HOF when everyone knew the consequences for betting on baseball.

Put him in after he dies to honor his accomplishments.

Not a big appologist for Rose, but I find it slightly amusing that I always pegged Kapler as a Major juicer and here he is pontificating about Pete. Of coaurse, I really hope Kapler wasn't on the PED. If he roided up and couldn't manage a better career than that, its really pretty pathetic.

Actually, 44, he was eligible for the Hall when he was banned. They changed the Hall rule after he was banned. No grandfather clause.

Yes, and baseball determined that one is three times worse than the other.

The junkies who got caught, basically anyone in the Mitchell report. They're junkies in my book. Keep them out forever.

If they ever let Pete Rose into the Hall, I think the pose on his plaque should show him frozen in Carbonite.
Burn down the disco. Hang the blessed DJ. Because the music that he constantly plays, it says nothing to me about my life.
