I love the way you think Krusty. I wish the Reds were that creative. Pressure would be off Billy, after the first he'd effectively be a second leadoff man anyway. I'd make one change, though. I'd move Cozart back to 7th and move everyone after BP up one.

I think Hamilton will really surprise people this year. He is going to impact the game on another level to what anyone is used to. He very well could be the most exciting player in the league this year.
I see great things in baseball. It's our game.

I think you're close, but I wouldn't want Cozart at the top. One of the biggest benefits of batting a real hitter 9th is that you can slide up your "RBI guys" and get the more PA without costing them baserunners.

    That's mine.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I will take the under. "Protection" does not really alter most at bats the way we think it does.

    Excellent! Free base runners!
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I don't think taking the bat out of our best hitter's hands and relying on the rest of the lineup, most of whom are average at best, to drive him in is something we should be hoping for.

yeah thanks to ludwick a retread 37 year old outfielder, he will really offer disincentive to other teams to pitch to Votto, lets put our faith in Ryan Ludwick, that is definitelyt the way to go

The Reds won 100% of the time last year when Votto walked five times.

    It's simple science.
