    Monday, April 13th, 2015:Minor-league Updates.

Louisville (1-3) - Jon Moscot was all set to make his 2015 debut, but the weather forced this game to be postponed.

Pensacola (1-3) - The Blue Wahoo were also postponed due to inclement weather.

Daytona (2-2) - The Turtles fell by a score of 6-5, and now stand at .500 on the young season. Daytona fell behind 4-zip before erupting for 5 runs in the top of the fourth to take a slim one-run lead. Daytona managed just six hits on the night, but bunched four of them in their big inning. Mix singles by Ervin and Daal, a double by Wallach, a triple by Sammy Diaz with a walk, a sac fly, an error and a wild pitch and the result is gonne be a 5-spot on the board.

Jackson Stephens gave up 5 runs in 4.2 innings. Nolan Becker surrendered a run in the bottom half of the ninth as Charlotte walks off a winner.

Dayton (1-3) - The Dragons have jumped out to a 4-1 lead after three full. Seth Varner is on the mound for Dayton and has allowed a run of four hits. He has struck out 6 in his three innings of work, while walking none.
Dayton took advantage of four first-inning bases on balls to score three runs. They tacked on an unearned run in the third. Avain Rachal has a pair of singles. Other singles belong to Aquino, Gonzalez and Boulware.

Heads of state that ride and wrangle. That look at your face from more than one angle. Can cut you from their bloated budgets. Like sharpened knives through Chicken McNuggets.

Dayton adds single runs in the sixth and the eighth and cruise to a 6-1 victory.

Varner went the front five, giving up just one run. Chacin, Brattvet and Kraus hold South Bend scoreless over the final four.

Ty Washington singled twice and walked, scoring once and driving home a run. Avain Rachal slapped three singles, pushing his average to .333 early on. He scored once and drove in a pair. Narciso Crook and Little Jimmy Pickens each rapped out a double.
