I remember when he was traded in 2005 he wasn't happy to be here at all, but I think after a while he really grew fond of the Reds and his teammates. He had a great tenure here, I hope he pitches well for the D-Backs.

I was just about over this, and then this picture popped up on my Twitter page about 30 times:

    I miss him already.

Why, yes -- @Dbacks pitcher Bronson Arroyo does, in fact, still use a flip phone: http://atmlb.com/1maEkif

Yeah, this is going to take some getting used to.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Not my lucky day: I drive over to Peoria to do an Arroyo story, and he scratches with a bad back. He's made 532 straight pro starts
The "never missed a start" thing had to stop some time, but I thought people were just including regular and post-season starts, not spring training.

I don't think spring training will jeopardize that streak.

It's depressing to see him in a new uniform. One of my favorite pitchers.
