    Seinfeld Reunion...of Sorts

Larry David, Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander have shot some sort of short film relating to Seinfeld.

The comedian elaborated somewhat, saying David was involved but was not filmed, other Seinfeld characters will appear in the project and that Alexander was reprising his role as George Costanza. When asked if Alexander was surprised to get the call, Seinfeld cracked, "No, he remembers that he played that character for many years. He was not surprised that he was asked to play George."

Interesting. My cousin told me the other day that he saw Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David filming something at the diner in NY where the show took place so many times. Has to be related, right?

Has David been in Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee yet? If not, could have been that.

Jerry confirmed that he and Jason Alexander were shooting a scene at Tom's Restaurant (Monk's) was for this project.

He also said it's not just Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee or just a Super Bowl commercial.....he said it's not not those things either. He basically said it's kind of a short film.

I was wondering why Matt Lauer was hanging out with George Costanza.

Sort of on/off topic, but I am sorely missing Curb and would do just about anything to see another season. Or 2. Or 10. It seems like the odds of a 9th season are 50/50, but the fact that this has been the longest absence since the show was created makes me nervous.
