99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

    Is today April Fool's Day?

And here I thought it was Groundhog Day. Or Stupid Bowl Sunday.

Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

I know its far-fetched, but its Sunday, I don't work today, and the Super Bowl doesn't start until later....I'm bored.
That thought had occurred to me too.

Anytime you can pick up a player who might crack the major league roster some day for virtually nothing it is a good thing. He'll never be more than a bench player--at best--but with his speed and base running skills that has real value.

    That's pretty much a stretch.

Maybe. But I still think he could crack the roster 3 or 4 years down the road, which is better than can be said of most minor league signings.

He had only completed two years in the minors (2012 draft). Why was he released?

Struggled mightily in two of his three stops. In 2012 in Everett, he didn't hit. He returned there for 20 games in 2013 and crushed it. Then he got promoted and he didn't hit again. That would be my only guess.

Ok, thanks. Saw that he really struggled last year in Clinton (albeit only 101 PA's), but considering he OPS'd .900 at Texas Tech and even with that brief struggle in Clinton he still has managed to put up a .646 OPS (in less than two seasons) so I was wondering if his glove was that bad or maybe he had an off the field issue.
