Henry Rodriguez and Nick Christiani. Both have already had cups of coffee in the big leagues, solid players and contributors. These 2 should be the next 2 off the list due to that alone. These players have had success at the minor leagues highest levels, in AAA. Boyles, Vargas, and Elizalde have upside, but are way down the organization ladder.
I admit that I haven't voted for HRod or Nick yet because it's more fun and intriguing to pick possible potential over closeness. Christiani in particular, though, has a solid chance to be a good reliever, and I still believe Rod can hit - there just isn't a position he plays well.

What's the knock on Selsky? His numbers look good, and he's had some support in the past. Strikes out too much, maybe?
It is on the whole probable that we continually dream, but that consciousness makes such a noise that we do not hear it. Carl Jung.
Elizalde still. And now I'm picking Jamodrick McGruder, because that name is pure gold.
I'm not a system player. I am a system.
If I remember correctly, he played all year at high A and was pretty old for the league. The fact that so many other fairly middling prospects like Bryson Smith and Josh Fellhauer were getting pt over him in higher levels speaks volumes about the front office's opinion of him compared to other prospects.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

I'm not voting against other candidates yet but Alberti Chavez should get some attention from the prospect watchers among us this season. If this kid can hit even a little bit he'll be climbing charts going forward. His range is other worldly. His glove is gold, he has a decent arm. He has NOT looked good at the plate (bad frankly), either in the AZL or Bakersfield, but he's only 18. I wonder if they drop him back to Billings or at least Dayton this year?
