What would be the "Seven Wonders" of your State?

If someone were to visit your State (whichever one you choose that to be), what would be the "Seven Wonders" that one should see?

This is different than the Head of Tourism trying to promote vacationers to come visit, like a Festival or something like that. A Festival is not a "Wonder". A "Wonder" is a natural or man-made vision that one needs to see to believe.

I cant sit here and name you the "natural wonders" of Ohio, though there are certainly some interesting hiking spots, though I'd imagine its pretty similar to most every other state.

As far as man made structures, the only one that comes to mind is the Lonenbergger building (I'm sure I messed up the spelling) but was pretty cool to drive by, even having seen pictures of it before. I guess I could throw Ohio Stadium in there, big college stadiums are fairly common in each state, but until you've been inside of one, its hard to get a feel for just how big those places are.

As far as an itinerary for someone visiting that you can't find as easy or to the same scale in other states (or countries):

    Entertrainment Junction (West Chester)
    Kings Island (Mason)
    Wright-Patt Air Force Museum (Dayton/Fairborn)
Columbus Zoo (I've seen it ranked as a top 3 zoo, I've never been)
    Cedar Pointe (Sandusky)
Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland)

    Blue Ridge Parkway

    Busch Gardens
    Chesapeake Bay Bridge
    Shenandoah Valley
    Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home)

honorable mention: Mt. Vernon (George Washington's home)

I am not a big zoo guy but I think Cincy's is much better than Columbus. Columbus does have an association with Jack Hanna that helps bring it attention.

We're a bit smaller, but WV has:

    Harper's Ferry
    The Grave Creek Mound
    Moundsville Penn (across the street)
Beartown (a state park that doesn't get enough attention)
    The New River Gorge Bridge
Potomac Eagle (train ride through a gorge filled w/bald eagles)
    Seneca Rocks

this is a mixture of personal preferences and things that just occurred to me. Some would include Cranberry Glades or Hawks Nest or Blennerhasset Island or Blackwater Canyon or the gold-leaf dome of the state capitol.

    Off the cuff:

    Mammoth Cave
    Red River Gorge
    Falls of the Ohio
Churchill Downs (preferably during Derby Week)
    Cumberland Falls
Any of the bourbon distilleries (Woodford Reserve and Maker's Mark being the best two)
and the best thing in KY, the view of Cincinnati from the Cut in the Hill
What if this is as good as it gets?

I live in Florida now, so there is so much opportunity to be snarky here. But I'll play it straight. Mine:

    Everglades
    Gulf Coast white-sand beaches
    Historic St. Augustine
    Kennedy Space Center
    Seven Mile Bridge/Overseas Highway
    Orlando-area theme parks, collectively
    Natural springs

Good list. I'm an hour drive away from #4, a 5-minute walk down the beach from #5, and I went to college in #6.
